Dr. No's New Release Comics - Wednesday, January 28

DC fans should rejoice this week with the release of Grant Morrison's Multiversity Guidebook! In this giant-sized, 80-page tome of information, readers will learn everything there is to know about DC's multitude of universes! Discover who The Light Brigade and Super Americans are and get to know the heroes Aquaflash, and Accelerated Man (to only name a few). Morrison has also laid out a complete timeline of all the different "Crisis" events that have gone on over the years. And if all of that wasn't enough, readers get a comic story featuring Kamandi, Atomic Knight Batman, and chibi Batman! This is chapter six of Morrison's Multiversity story, so you won't want to miss it!

In Batman #38, Joker doesn't pull any punches as the fourth part of 'Endgame" arrives. This issue also continues the backup story featuring five escaped Arkham Asylum inmates. And if Gotham wasn't crazy enough with the Joker back, it also has the paranormal cases only a few special cops can hand! In Gotham by Midnight #3, Jim Corrigan and his crew attempt to uncover the evil secret of Gotham Central Hospital that threatens to infect all of Gotham! And to keep the theme going, Vertigo Quarterly: Black is also out this week, featuring stories from creators like Mark H. K. Choi, Francesco Francavilla, and more! This is the fourth and final chapter of Vertigo's quarterly collection, and things take a turn for the dark.

Are you looking for a little Spider-Man action that isn't tied up in the web of Spider-Verse? If so, Spider-Man and the X-Men #2 by Elliott Kalan and Marco Failla may be just for you! After only having his class for a day, Spider-Man has already managed to get his students in to deep as they attempt to stop the Savage Land from taking over Staten Island! And in Wolverines #4 by Ray Fawkes and Ariela Kristantina, the Wolverines pay the crimson price as they try to save Fantomelle. But is it worth? Will she help them even if she does survive?

Image's (and Marvel's) superstar writer Jonathan Hickman is back! His new series Dying and the Dead #1 premieres this week with art by Ryan Bodenheim. Pitched as, Indian Jones for old people. Dying and the Dead finds several relics from a past generation coming together because of seemingly separate events. One thing's for sure: if this is their last adventure, it's going to be a great one!

Below is a complete list of everything coming out Wednesday, January 21:
