Oh, the Inhumanity! New comics this Wednesday, December 4

After the events of Marvel's Infinity, the Terrigen Mists have been spread across the world and long dormant Inhuman genes are being awakened across the globe. In Inhumanity #1 by Matt Fraction and Olivier Coipel, the Avengers find themselves at odds with the Inhuman Karnak who has recently discovered the secret behind the Inhuman race. Don't miss the next chapter in the Marvel U's epic story. Peter Parker returns (kind of) in Amazing Spider-Man #700.1 by David Morrell (writer of First Blood) and artist Klaus Janson. This all new story of Peter as Spider-Man finds racing to save Aunt May as he protects New York City during one of the worst blizzards of all time. Then in Amazing X-Men #2 by Jason Aaron and Ed McGuinness, Wolverine and Northstar are in heaven, and Nightcrawler is there too! But the rest of the team didn't seem to get so lucky in their off world trip. Meanwhile in the Ultimate Universe, Miles Morales heads to the main Marvel U when the Ultimates figure out where Galactus came from in Cataclysm: The Ultimates' Last Stand #2 by Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley.

This week's Forever Evil tie-in comes courtesy of Trinity of Sin: The Phantom Stranger #14 by J.M. DeMatteis and Fernando Blanco. The new Justice League Dark -- John Constantine, Swamp Thing and Nightmare Nurse -- attempt to bring Phantom Stranger into the fold to stop the Secret Society, but he won't even listen until Constantine reveals the Stranger's secret past. In Batman/Superman #6, the mighty Mongul, a name that strikes fear in hearts across the galaxy, has set his attention on Earth, and Batman and Superman are the only ones who stand in his way.  Don't miss Green Arrow #26 by Jeff Lemire and Andrea Sorrentino as the new story "The Outsiders War" is kicked off. Ollie has discovered the location of the Outsiders' base, but it means he must return to the island that made him who he is today. Other notable books out this week include Detective Comics #26, Green Lantern #26, Fairest #21, DC vs Masters of the Universe #3, and more.

Velvet #2 from the creators of Captain American: Winter Soldier, Ed Brubaker and Steve Epting, continues the new action/spy story this week. Velvet is being hunted by her own agency, but she won't give up until she finds out the truth behind Agent X-14's murder. As she follows the trail of blood and broken lives, one of her darkest secrets comes back to haunt her. If you missed the first issue, we still have plenty in stock and it is worth checking out.
