Go back to Wolverine's origins this Tuesday, December 24 (Bonus: Holiday Hours!)


Dr. No's Comics and Games would like to wish everyone a happy holidays, and remind our customers that new comics will be in tomorrow, Tuesday, December 24. On Christmas Eve (tomorrow), our hours are 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and we are OPEN on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.. If you find yourself needing to get out of the house on Christmas, come on by and check out our special sales event. For veterans of our Christmas Day sale, we are switching things up a bit, so don't miss it. We look forward to seeing you, and safe travels to those of you heading out of town. Now, let's take a look at a couple of those books coming out tomorrow.

Marvel presents the all-new chapter of Wolverine's secret origin with Origin II #1 by Kieron Gillen and Adam Kubert. Picking up a few years after the original Origin story, James Howlett is living his life amongst a pack of wolves, fully embodying the savage beast many see him as. However, an unexpected event will force James to make a decision: is he man or beast? The All New Marvel NOW! starts this Tuesday with the release of Avengers #24.NOW by Jonathan Hickman and Esad Ribic. This issue kicks off the new direction of Marvel for 2014 as a rogue planet is set on a collision course with Earth. Meanwhile, Captain America and Iron Man plan for the next iteration of the Avengers after the fallout of Infinity. And find out who the mysterious visitor from the future is that will help save the world.

What better way to celebrate the holidays than with DC Comic's Forever Evil #4 by Geoff Johns and David Finch? The DCU is in the midst of its darkest hour as the Crime Syndicate maintains its hold over the world. However, as expected, villains aren't the best at playing nice, so war erupts amongst their ranks. Meanwhile, Lex Luthor and Batman come face to face, and Deathstroke and his group close in on the only person who might be able to stop the Crime Syndicate. In Justice League #26 by Geoff Johns, Ivan Reis and Joe Prado, discover the Syndicate's reasons for coming to this Earth and their dark secrets. All of this will lead to a fundamental change in the League.

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Doctor with IDW's Doctor Who Special 2013 #1 by Paul Cornell and Jimmy Braxton. When a something transports the Tardis and the Doctor to our universe, he comes face to face with his biggest fan and must deal with the knowledge that he is just a fictional character. If that wasn't weird enough, the Doctor also meets the actor, Matt Smith, portraying him on the show. Don't miss this one-shot story sure to please any Doctor Who fan.
