The galactic war caused by Thanos' return to the Marvel Universe continues this week in Infinity #3 by Jonathan Hickman, Jerome Opena and Dustin Weaver. After the discovery of what Thanos is truly after in his invasion of the Earth, the heroes must decide what to do next. Also in this issue: Captain Marvel, Hawkeye, Spider-Woman and Black Widow have been imprisoned; can they break free from their prison? A worldkiller is stolen. And Attilan, the ancestral home of the Inhumans, will fall! In addition to the main series, several Infinity tie-in issues are out this week. Follow Captain Marvel and the other captured Avengers' struggle in Captain Marvel #16 by Kelly Sue DeConnick and Pat Oliffe. In New Avengers #10 by Jonathan Hickman and Mike Deodato, see what Maximus the Mad has planned! While in the middle of the Thunderbolts mission, Thanos' invading forces say hello in Thunderbolts #15 by Charles Soule and Jefte Palo. 
If one Marvel event isn't enough (and why should it be?), don't forget to pick up Uncanny X-Men #12 by Brian Michael Bendis and Chris Bachalo. In 'Battle of the Atom' part four, the Uncanny X-Men join the fight for the future/past, but whose side will they be on? Speaking of time travel, Superior Spidey and Spider-Man 2099 continue their standoff in Superior Spider-Man #18 by Dan Slott and Ryan Stegman.
DC Comics' villains maintain their grasp around the world's throat in the third week of Villains Month. This week, I want to highlight some of the books tying directly into the events of Forever Evil. In Batman and Robin #23.3: Ra's Al Ghul and the League of Assassins by James T Tynion IV and Jorge Lucas, readers will finally discover the origin of The New 52 Ra's Al Ghul, and he is faced with a choice when the Secret Society offers him a chance to finally achieve his life's goal. Then, Clayface tries to impress the Secret Society in Batman: The Dark Knight #23.3: Clayface by John Layman and Cliff Richards. Thanks to the Secret Society, Arkham Asylum has been set loose, and in Detective Comics #23.3: The Scarecrow by Peter J. Tomasi and Szymon Kudranski, you can see Gotham City's state of chaos through the Scarecrow's twisted mind. 
Many readers were sad to see Dial H come to an end, but hold back the tears because Justice League #23.3: Dial E brings back the series for one last hurrah when four criminals find a lost E-dial. Writer China Miéville is joined by 20 of the industry's top artists including Jeff Lemire, Jock, David Lapham and more to illustrate this insane issue. In Flash #23.3: The Rogues by Brian Buccellato and Patrick Zircher, the Rogues ideology clashes with the Secret Society. Then, a world full of death and no hero in sight calls Black Hand back from the dead in Green Lantern #23.3: Black Hand by Charles Soule and Alberto Ponticell. Black Hand isn't the only villain returning this week! In Wonder Woman #23.1: The Cheetah by John Ostrander and Victor Ibanez Ramirez, the Cheetah escapes from Belle Reve to satiate her hunger for revenge and join the Secret Society.
