Marvel's biggest event to hit shelves this year is coming to a close this week in Avengers and X-Men: AXIS #9 by Rick Remender and Jim Cheung. In the ultimate chapter of AXIS, readers will discover the final fate of the inverted heroes and villains. The good and the bad guys will make choices that will forever affect the Marvel U. You won't want to miss this issue. In Superior Iron Man #3 by Tom Taylor and Yildiray Cinar, Daredevil is still reeling from his returned vision thanks to Iron Man's new technology. However, keeping his site means he buys into Stark's tech that is slowly changing the city into something beautiful and horrible. The events of AXIS continue to shape comics this week in Captain America and the Mighty Avengers #3 by Al Ewing and Luke Ross. The Avengers/Avengers War starts here as Captain America and Iron Man bring the full weight of their forces against Gem Theater. It won't be pretty for anyone involved.
Check out more highlights and a complete list of the books being released this Wednesday after the break.
Batman has hunted for a way to bring Damian back since his death, and, now, his obsession has finally paid off in Robin Rises: Alpha by Peter J. Tomasi, Andy Kubert and Jonathan Glapion. This is a tie-in to 'Endgame,' so make sure you pick it up to learn more about the return of the Joker. Other annuals of note include Catwoman Annual #2, Grayson Annual #1 and Green Lantern Annual #3. And if you're looking for the spookier side of Batman's city, check out Gotham By Midnight #2 by Ray Fawkes and Ben Templesmith.
