Complete New Release List and Highlights for Wednesday, October 29

Over the past two years, DC broke new ground with their advanced 3D cover technology, but now they are about to take your comics and your nose to a new level! In Harley Quinn Annual #1 by Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmiotti and John Timms, readers take a "scent-ticular" adventure to Harley's hometown of Coney Island. Along the way, you'll get pleasant odors like leather, suntan lotion, pizza, and "cannabisylocibe 7-A." There will also be an International version of the book that replaces the "cannabisylocibe 7-A" scent with one of fresh lawn clippings. Some other DC Annuals to look out for this week are: Justice League United Annual #1Justice league Dark Annual #2, and Swamp Thing Annual #2.

Marvel takes a new look at an old character in Deathlok #1 by Nathan Edmondson and Mike Perkins. Meet Henry Hayes. Henry is a field medic, traveling across war zones healing people wounded in battle. However, Henry harbors a secret even he doesn't know. Once activated, he becomes the ultimate killing machine: Deathlok. While we're on the topic of killing machines, the new Death of Wolverine: Deadpool and Captain America #1 by Gerry Duggan and Scott Kolins follows Deadpool and Steve Rogers as they attempt to stop the bad guys from cloning the deceased Logan's DNA. In Death of Wolverine: Logan's Legacy #3, Sabretooth is dealing with the loss of Wolverine in the only way he knows how: more violence!

In Rasputin #1 by Alex Grecian and Riley Rossmo, the legend of Rasputin continues! In a single evening, Rasputin was betrayed by all of his friends. He was stabbed, beaten, shot, poisoned, drowned, and tossed into a river. However, that wasn't enough to kill the man. In fact, all it did was ensure his immortality. Don't miss the new series the creators are describing as "Dracula at Downton Abbey."
