From DC comics this week, Batman #34 by Scott Snyder and Matteo Scalera finds the Zero Year chapter closed and Gotham out of control thanks to the events of Batman Eternal. Batman must track a killer that has been hunting the streets of Gotham for years in secret. You won't want to miss this issue because it sets up the next big Bat story in the Fall. Speaking of big stories, the Doomed storyline continues in Superman/Wonder Woman #11 by Charles Soule and Jackson Herbert as Wonder Woman is forced to make a difficult decision, and Kal-El is no more!
If you're following Original Sin and are interested in the future of Spider-Man, you won't want to miss Amazing Spider-Man #5 by Dan Slott and Humberto Ramos. The biggest secret in the world of Spider-Man is revealed, but who is Silk and why is she involved with Electro and Black Cat's mission to take down the Spider? Meanwhile, the Spider-Man of the future is adapting to his new life in the past in Spider-Man 2099 #2 by Peter David and Will Sliney. And the first arc of the newest Inhumans saga comes to a close with a battle between Medusa and Lash in Inhuman #3 by Charles Soule and Joe Madureira.
Fans of the King of the Monsters should rejoice because Godzilla: Cataclysm #1 by Cullen Bunn and Dave Wachter hits shelves this Wednesday. Many years have gone by since the monster apocalypse. Most of humanity has been destroyed, except for a few tribes that have banded together to eke out a meager existence. However, if the humans thought their monster nightmare was over, they're wrong, and it is up to one tribe elder to use his knowledge to stay alive a little longer.
