One of the most talked about Marvel NOW! books is finally here. All New X-Men #1 by Brian Michael Bendis and Stuart Immonen reintroduces the original team of X-Men to the current timeline. Scott and his group are on the hunt for any new spark of the mutant gene and don't care what or who stands in their way. Something has to be done before they destroy what little peace is left between humans and mutants, and Hank might have an idea to do just that. Matt Fraction and Mark Bagley take the reigns of the all new Fantast Four #1. Reed, Susan, Ben, Johnny, Franklin, and Valeria set out on a family road trip through time and space. Fraction plans to have each issue of the series be a new adventure taking place during a new time and in a new location. It is the ultimate home school experience for the kids. Don't worry, there will be plenty of action along the way! If two books about time travel weren't enough, here is a third: Thor, God of Thunder #1 by Jason Aaron and Esad Ribic. The God Butcher has set out to wipe out the Marvel Universe gods, and Thor must stop him before his past, present, and future selves are destroyed.
The Joker has returned, and no one is safe. Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo bring readers a much more sinister and dangerous clown in Batman #14. Harley Quinn has the Bat trapped, and Joker pays a visit to Alfred at Wayne Manor. Will Batman be able to stop this new incarnation of his deadly foe before it is to late? For those of you that missed a couple of the previous titles in the "Death of the Family" storyline, DC has reprints of Batman #13, Catwoman #13 and Batgirl #13 on shelves this week, so you can get caught up!Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson introduced the world to The Boys in 2006, and this week, the series comes to an end with Boy #72. With 24 pages of story, 5 pin-up pages of new art, and a complete cover gallery, all of the stops are being pulled out.
