The fan-favorite spin-off of League of Extraordinary Gentlemen returns Wednesday, March 25! Alan Moore and Kevin O'Neill bring readers the new original graphic novel Nemo: River of Ghosts. Captain Nemo, Janni Dakkar, is now eighty years old, and her adventures are drawing to a close as she slowly loses grip on her own mind. Now, she must track down the ghosts of her past, taking the Nautilus to strange new lands. If you've missed Moore's series of Nemo books, you owe it to yourself to check them out.
Check out the rest of this week's highlights and a full list of releases after the break.
DC Comics helps Grant Morrison bring his experimental storytelling to the next level with Multiversity: Ultra Comics, with art by Doug Mahnke and Christian Alamy. In this penultimate chapter, the team behind Final Crisis has united once again to tell readers the story of Earth-33. The multiverse is facing destruction, and the only hope is the very comic you hold in your hands (or will be holding in your hands). Readers become part of the action as they make their way through this fun issue.
I hope your ready for some space themed books from Marvel because that's what you're getting. This week brings readers Darth Vader #3 by Kieron Gillen and Salvador Larroca. The Dark Lord of the Sith needs help, so he enlists Aphra, raider of lost treasures! Then, the Black Vortex story continues in Guardians of the Galaxy #25 by Brian Bendis and Valerio Schiti, Nova #28 by Gerry Duggan and David Baldeon, and Legendary Star Lord #10 by Sam Humphries and Paco Medina. That's a lot of galactic action!
The music is back tomorrow with the release of Jem & The Holograms #1 by Kelly Thompson and Sophie Campbell. Jerrica Benton, her sister Kimber, and two of their friends become Jem and the Holograms. If you're looking for a book full of action, fashion, and style (who isn't?), this is the book for you!
