The time has finally arrived. The prequel to the award-winning and fan-favorite series Sandman finishes this week. The Eisner Award-nominated series Sandman Overture #6 by Neil Gaiman and J. H. Williams brings the long awaited conclusion that features Morpheus's (and your) favorite siblings. New Release Comics - Wednesday, September 23

The past and the present collide this Wednesday in Marvel's new Fury: SHIELD 50th Anniversary #1 by David Walker and Lee Ferguson. Over the past few weeks, the 50th Anniversary of SHIELD has been celebrated by highlighting different Marvel characters, and this week we've got the big one. The Nick Fury of now must team up with Nick Fury Sr. when a villain from the past reappears. But will father and son be able to work together to take down the bad guy? You'll just have to read to find out!

This week brings reader another story from a galaxy far, far away in Star Wars: Kanan #6 by Greg Weisman and Jacopo Camagni. In this issue, we get a story set during the time of Star Wars: Rebels, the hit Disney animated show. Kanan is no longer a Padawan, caring for his own Jedi in training. He finds himself on the planet Kaller when his past as Caleb Dume comes back to haunt him. Don't miss this great issue featuring the cast of the Rebels cartoon.

Zendikar is one of the most popular worlds in Magic the Gathering with it's floating islands called Hedrons and it's Spell-like mana that call to adventurers and planeswalkers to a world that is a deathtrap to those who are unprepared! there are also some surprises coming in the Battle for Zendikar...

“Battle for Zendikar will be the return of full-art lands. I’ve seen them and you’re all in for a real treat. Second, Battle for Zendikar does have a cool rare cycle of dual lands, but they’re brand new designs and not the Zendikar fetch lands.” – Mark Rosewater, Head designer for Magic: The Gathering.

At the prerelease each player will receive a special hedron-themed Prerelease pack that they can use after the event as a take-home deck box. Inside each Prerelease box, there will be six Battle for Zendikar Booster packs along with a randomized, date-stamped premium promocard, a spindown life counter and a deckbuilding advice insert.
