Send off the month with some new comics this Wednesday, November 30

Marvel has several great reads this week. Even though Fantastic Four #600 hit shelves last week, the Future Foundation continues towards its goal of saving humanity in FF #12 by Jonathan Hickman and artist Juan Bobillo. Running parallel to Fantastic Four's "Forever" storyline, "All Hope Lies In Doom" kicks off a four-part story arc that reveals how the Foundation and Doctor Doom plan to save the world. Averngers Origins: Thor #1 is the last issue of the Origins one-shots that have run through the month of November and focuses on fans' favorite Asgardian in his pursuit of godhood and humility. Marvel readers also have Uncanny X-Men #2, Wolverine #19, and X-Men Legacy #259 to look forward to this week, among other great titles!

DC's critically acclaimed THUNDER Agents return with a new first issue by Nick Spencer and Craig Wesley that offers new readers a great jumping on point. Would you willingly become a Super Hero if you knew the power would eventually kill you? The members of this team did, and this book aims to explore why they would make this deadly decision. The Legion: Secret Origins #2 and Batman: Odyssey #2 miniseries are also out! For the all-ages crowd, DC presents Green Lantern: The Animated Series #0, which will lead in to the upcoming monthly series! While patrolling, Hal Jordon and Kilowog find a green power ring abandoned in space, but where did it comes from?

Robert Kirkman and Greg Capullo pass the torch of Image's Haunt series on to Joe Casey and Nathan Fox this week with the release of issue 19. The new team plans to take the book in a bold new direction, so this issue is a great jumping on point. Daniel and Kurt Kilgore have shared their strange power ever sense Kurt's death, but now their lives become even more complicated when something from the past comes back to haunt them. If you end up enjoying the book, early issues of the series are collected in trade paperbacks.

Shake a turkey leg and come get new comics this Wednesday, November 23

Marvel's First Family, the Fantastic Four, celebrates its 50th anniversary this week with the release of Fantastic Four #600! This issue begins a five-part conclusion to a story that Jonathan Hickman began over thirty issues ago! The training the Future Foundation has undergone will be put to a test! Along with the events of Hickman's FF series, fan's of Matt Fractions The Mighty Thor will also be happy to know the ramifications of Galactus and Thor's encounter will continue to be felt. New readers shouldn't worry about missing something because they will be able to pick this up without a problem! Marvel fans will not want to miss this oversized issue with 96-pages of new content!

Fans of Richard Stark's Parker should look at this week's Richard Stark's Parker Martini Edition. This special oversized  hardcover collects Darwyn Cooke's amazing adaptions of The Hunter and The Outfit plus a brand new eight page story by Cooke! There is also an extended art gallery and whole lot more sure to please fans .

Writer/artist Liam Sharp's long awaited original graphic novella Aliens: Fast Track To Heaven finally hits shelves this week. Europa's research facilities are underfunded and ignored, so when their space elevator malfunctions midway through its trip, a rescue team finds something that threatens their life and life on Earth!

DC's New 52  finishes the last round of third issues this week, with such highlights as Flash #3 and Aquaman #3! Shade #2 will also be out this week.

Other highlights from Marvel are Wolverine and the X-Men #2, Avengers Origins: Quicksilver and Scarlet With, and Avengers Solo #2. Kick-Ass 2 #5 is also out this week under Marvel's Icon line.

Kodansha's Codename Sailor V Vol. 2 and Sailor Moon Vol. 2 are out and present these titles as they have never been before in the United States.

Come on in for new comics this Wednesday, November 16

The DC Universe's big-hitters return this week in Geoff Johns and Jim Lee's Justice League #3! Wonder Woman joins Batman, Green Lantern, Flash, and Superman against a threat none of them have encountered before. You will not want to miss the third issue of DC's New 52 other thirteen titles including Batman, Birds of Prey, Blue Beetle, Captain Atom, Catwoman, DC Universe PresentsGreen Lantern Corps, I, Vampire, Legion of Superheroes, Nightwing, Red Hood and the Outlaws, Supergirl, and Wonder Woman. Also, My Greatest Adventure #2 will be on shelves.

Valve, a company known for its critically acclaimed video games, joins forces with Dark Horse Comics to bring readers a hardcover collection of stories set in the worlds of Left 4 Dead, Portal, and  Team Fortress! In Valve Presents: Sacrifice and Other Steam Powered Stories, acclaimed artist Michael Oeming joins with Valve's own writers and artists present over three hundred pages of story that fans will not want to miss!

The X-Men's Regenesis continues in Generation Hope #13, New Mutants #34, and  X-Men #21. Each team must deal with the new status quo as they continue on with their individual missions. However, that's not all for you mutant fans!  Several other titles including X-23 #17, X-Factor #227, Wolverine: Best There is #11, and Ultimate Comics X-Men #3 are also out this week!

The rest of the Marvel U must continue its recovery from the events of Fear Itself! In Fear Itself #7 Point Three, Odin will decide Asgard's final fate. The hunt for the remaining hammers continues in Fear Itself: Fearless #3. In Avengers #19, Osborn and H.A.M.M.E.R. have returned and a new line of Avengers are introduced. Class is in session for the new West Coast Academy in Avengers Academy #22, but celebration is cut short when a classic Avenger is murdered! In Incredible Hulk #2, Hulk and Banner are separated after Fear Itself, and the Hulk has been tasked with taking down his former host!

Avenge your boredom with new comics this Wednesday, November 9

This Wednesday, fan-favorite writer Zeb Wells and legendary artist Joe Madureira return with Avenging Spider-Man #1! The wall-crawler's newest series teams him up with the Marvel Universe's greatest heroes! In this premiere issue, Spidey and Red Hulk team-up to take on a Moloid army that decides to get in on the action of the New York Marathon. Spider-Man fans and fans of Marvel's classic series Marvel Team-Up will want to check out the first issue of what promises to be a fun, action-packed monthly adventure!

The fallout of Fear Itself continues to be felt this week in Fear Itself #7.2 by Matt Fraction and Salvador Larroca. Tony Stark sacrificed what he held most dear to help his friends. Now, Tony confronts Odin, but when it is all over, the world may know Iron Man's darkest secret. The age of the Shattered Heroes (think Heroic Age  following Dark Reign) begins in Battle Scars #1 when the presence of the mysterious Army Ranger Marcus Jones threatens to tear the Marvel U apart! Beyond Fear Itself, Marvel has big plans for 2012, and you can get a sneak peak of things to come this week in the 64-page one-shot Point One! Several of Marvel's best writers and artists join forces to bring readers seven all-new stories that set the stage for next year's big changes, including one story that picks up directly from Uncanny X-Force's "Dark Angel" storyline! Each story is designed to lead into the big events that will take place throughout different books next year.


The X-Men had enough on their hands without Magneto turning back to his old ways. In Magneto:  Not a Hero #1, a video emerges of Magneto killing members of an anti-mutant group. After all of his work with them, the X-Men are shocked to see him turning villain again . Does he really want to give it all up? Or has he just never been caught before now? Also look out for Wolverine #18 and X-Men: Legacy #258.

New York Times best-selling authors P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast's hit series comes to comics this Wednesday in P.C. Cast House of Night #1. Writer Kent Dalian and artists Joelle Jones and Karl Kerschi join the Casts in adapting the novel series to comics for the very first time. Zoey Redbird is just like any other sixteen year old student, but everything changes when Zoey is marked as a vampyre! Now, she must enroll in the vampyre academy House of Night and adapt to an entirely new social hierarchy. Oh yeah, there is that whole craving blood thing that she also has to deal with. Fans of Harry Potter or the original House of Night book series will want to give this comic adaptation a try.

DC's New 52 line continues this week. Keep your eyes open for issue two of the The Huntress and Penguin: Pain and Prejudice miniseries!
