Wolverine's Life Goes Downhill...

Logan's life gets a whole lot worse this week as Wolverine goes to hell--literally! And when you consider how many bad guys he's sent there over the years, you'll realize that there's going to be a really nasty welcome party once he arrives...

Brightest Day #9 offers more insights into the roles of the resurrected heroes... and the Blackest Night related threats that haven't been eliminated. If you're not reading this biweekly series, you're missing out--it's one of the best books in the DC line!

It's a doubly good week for Vertigo fans as the latest issues of two hit Vertigo series--iZombie and Sweet Tooth--arrive. If you haven't tried these series, it's never too late to start!

These books, and many more, will be available as soon as we open the doors on Wednesday, so come on by! (And if you want to get an idea what else you can expect, check out the covers below!)

Justice for All, courtesy of Robinson & Bagley!

This week brings the latest installment of the big Justice League/Justice Society crossover as Justice Society of America #42 arrives courtesy of James Robinson and our favorite superstar artist Mark Bagley! This is a landmark story, so don't let it slip by!

The long-awaited (and alas, long-overdue) Image United #3 is also shipping this week. Hey, it takes a lot of time to move those pages all over the country so that all six of the Image founding artists can illustrate their own characters!

Alex Ross's Phantom revamp debuts this week in the pages of Dynamite's Last Phantom #1. Always wondered why a hero who lives in the jungle would wear a purple costume? You're about to find out!

It's a double Avengers week as both New Avengers #3 and Secret Avengers #4 ship--and after a couple of Avengers-less weeks, it's good to get more Marvel Universe current-continuity Avengers stuff once again.

And if you're looking for a vampire book that doesn't suck, look no further than True Blood from IDW! The second issue is arriving this week--and since it's co-plotted by HBO series creator Alan Ball, it's everything that fans of the series could hope for!

All these books, and many more, will be available as soon as we open the doors on Wednesday, so come on by! (And if you want to get an idea what else you can expect, check out the list below!)

These Boots are Made for Walking

Superman's still on his walkabout this week--and what an amazing story it is! If anyone had told you that a story involving Superman's walk across America would have been one of the best comics of the year, you'd have thought they were crazy, right? But J. Michael Straczynski makes it work. If you haven't read Superman recently, this story arc is the place to start!

A new title joins the Green Lantern line with the introduction of Green Lantern: Emerald Warriors #1, which focuses on Guy Gardner. Green Lantern fans (and who isn't?) will want to take a look!

The X-Men's war with vampires continues in X-Men #2, and that means that this is a story you can really sink your teeth into!

Robert Kirkman's Walking Dead is selling stronger than ever, due in part to the upcoming AMC television series--but due even more to the superlative storytelling in every issue! Walking Dead #76 arrives this week, which should make a lot of readers quite happy indeed.

All these books, and many more, will be available as soon as we open the doors on Wednesday, so come on by! (And if you want to get an idea what else you can expect, check out the list below!)

Almost Like Owning the Original Art!

This week sees the release of an ultra-limited edition art book that any fan of Dave Stevens' Rocketeer will love. Dave Stevens' The Rocketeer Artist's Edition reprints all of Stevens' art in the same size as the original art, on heavy paper, printed to look exactly like the original art (pencil marks, blue lines, and all). This book was printed in an ultra-limited edition of less than a thousand copies and is totally sold out from the publisher, so don't miss out while you have a chance to get one of these!

Brightest Day #7 offers readers the first insights into just why the chosen dead heroes have returned to life--and you might be surprised by what we learn!

"One Moment In Time" continues in Amazing Spider-Man #639, as Joe Quesada reveals just what led to the Peter Parker-Mary Jane Watson breakup... and what's in store for the couple in the future.

What would have happened if Kal-El's parents, Jor-El & Lara, had made the fateful trip to Earth with him? That's what we'll find out in the Elseworlds tale Superman: The Last Family of Krypton by veteran Superman writer Cary Bates.

All these books, and many more, will be available as soon as we open the doors on Wednesday, so come on by! (And if you want to get an idea what else you can expect, check out the list below!)
