New Release Comics - Wednesday, September 16

Fans of Marvel's Spider-Man: Blue, Hulk: Gray, and Daredevil: Yellow are in luck, because the amazing duo of Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale are back with Captain America: White #1. In this new series, Captain America reveals a story that spans from World War II to his reawakening in the present day. It all started in 1941 when the Howling Commandos thought everything was under control, or they did until Captain and Bucky turned a relaxing evening into chaos. Don't miss this shocking tale. This is an extra size issue that also include Captain America: White #0.

The book is Tokyo Ghost #1 by Rick Remender and Sean Murphy. The time is 2089. The place, Isles of Los Angeles. The population has become addicted to technology. No one works anymore. Everyone scrounges around doing whatever it takes to get their next digital fix. And where do they get these tech highs? The gangsters. And when the gangsters need their law enforced, they call Constables Led Dent and Debbie Decay. However, their latest adventure is going to take them out of their comfort zone and into the last tech-less piece of earth on the planet: The Garden Nation of Tokyo!

Star Wars is everywhere now as we get closer to December and the release of The Force Awakens, so it only makes sense to highlight the new books out this week. Star Wars #9 by Jason Aaron and Stuart Immonen find the Imperials hot on Han and Leia's trail as Luke attempts to track down who stole his lightsaber. And in Star Wars: Lando #4 by Charles Soule and Alex Maleev, Lando is on the run with an incredibly expensive ship that just might not be his, and a highly effective tracker is on his tail.
