He father was a man of great reputation and owned a successful company. Unfortunately, he's now dead, and Diandra's childhood rival inherited the family business because she just doesn't seem to have a talent for anything except garbage duty. That all changes when a mysterious flying engine comes crashing in to her life! Oh yeah, did I mention this comic has airships? It has airships!
And the moment you've all been waiting for is here, Bruce Wayne is back as Batman in Batman #44 by Scott Snyder and Jock! At least for this issue, as readers get a look into Wayne's past as Batman investigating a case in the Narrows. This all ties-in to the origin story of the latest Batman's newest villain: Mr. Bloom!
