New Release Comics - Wednesday, September 30

The time has finally arrived. The prequel to the award-winning and fan-favorite series Sandman finishes this week. The Eisner Award-nominated series Sandman Overture #6 by Neil Gaiman and J. H. Williams brings the long awaited conclusion that features Morpheus's (and your) favorite siblings. While many of you have probably already read Neil Gaiman's original series, after this issue is over, you'll be ready for The Sandman Vol. 1: Preludes and Nocturnes.

After the Batman's last encounter with The Joker, Bruce Wayne decided to never put on the mask again. Since then, a new Batman has taken over, but what about Bruce? In Batman Annual #4 by James Tynion IV, you'll find out more behind the mystery of Bruce Wayne and who he is now without the cape and cowl. Despite how hard he tries, will he ever be able to divide the man from the Bat?

As the politics of the real world heat up, so do the ones in Riverdale. In Archie #3 by Mark Waid and Fiona Staple, a large mansion looms over the city, and its rich inhabitant has plans for the city's teens. Meanwhile, a new girl has come to school, and she's got heads turning. Find out the rich guy's plans and who this new girl is in the third issue of the comic that's brought everyone's favorite classic in to the modern era.
