New Release List and Highlights for Wednesday, November 19

The next chapter of The Multiversity hits shelves this Wednesday in Multiversity: Pax Americana #1 by the all-star team of Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely. Morrison and Quitely take readers to Earth-4 in this new tale featuring unique versions of classic heroes, including The Question, Blue Beetle, Captain Atom, Nightshade and Peacemaker. In a truly Morrison fashion, the story is told backwards, with more mysteries being revealed in every page. If you're new to Multiversity, every issue has been a self-contained story building towards a larger narrative, so you can pick this one up (or any of the others) without reading the previous ones.

This week welcomes the brand new creative team of Meredith Finch and David Finch to Wonder Woman #36. And with a new creative team comes an all new, epic story line great for new and dedicated readers alike. New allies and villains will make an appearance; plus, one of those new baddies will stand toe-to-toe with Wonder Woman and the Justice League. If all of that wasn't enough, this issue guest stars Swamp Thing! That's not all that's new for Wonder Woman! Peter J. Tomasi and Doug Mahnke take over creative duties on Superman/Wonder Woman #13. The super-couple's bond will be tested like never before in this new story line.

Check out more highlights and a complete list of the books being release after the break.

DC's Earth One line of original graphic novels adds a new title with the release of Teen Titans Earth One HC by the talented team of Jeff Lemire and Terry Dodson. Sure, the kids of Teen Titans always knew they weren't like all of the other normal kids, but they never knew how right they were. The secret behind their upbringing will bring doom upon them, their town and everyone they love. Witness the rebirth of some of DC's most popular characters and the introduction of some soon to be favorites in this all new story that's not to be missed.

The hugely anticipated return of Jessica Drew to her own solo-series has arrived with the release of Spider-Woman #1 by Dennis Hopeless and Greg Land. Spinning out of Spider-Verse, this new series kicks off with Spider-Woman and Silk teaming up to survive against the monsters hunting down spider-heroes across the multiverse. You almost feel sorry for the bad guys going up against that duo! The battle with Morlun continues in Amazing Spider-Man #10 by Dan Slott and Olivier Coipel. The Superior Spider-Man and the Amazing Spider-Man are at odds as the team of Spiders prepares for battle. This issue also guest stars Miles Morales, the Ultimate Spider-Man!

The world continues to spiral out of control in Avengers and X-Men: AXIS #6 by Rick Remender and Terry Dodson. The Axis of Evil has come out on top, and the heroes aren't acting like themselves.
