Nightcrawler returns this Wednesday, November 6

Fans of Marvel's fuzzy blue elf, Nightcrawler, will be very happy this Wednesday with the release of Amazing X-Men #1 by Jason Aaron and Ed McGuinness. After his demise in Messiah Complex, the X-Men have had a significant hole in their roster. However, they may have just discovered he isn't gone after all. Wolverine, Storm, Beast, Iceman, Northstar and Firestar embark to find their missing friend and make the X-family whole again. In Longshot Saves The Marvel Universe #1, someone is out to destroy the Marvel U's luckiest of the lucky, and Longshot is high on that list. It is up to Longshot to survive and save the Marvel Universe from this new threat. The Age of Ultron continues to be felt as the Ultimate Universe is once again attack by Galactus, and the Ultimates are its first line of defense in Cataclysm: The Ultimates' Last Stand #1. Other books of note this week are Marvel Knights: Spider-Man #2, Fantomex Max #2, Might Avengers #3 and more!

DC's New 52 changing event continues in Forever Evil #3 by Geoff Johns, David Finch and Richard Friend. The Justice Leagues are dead and the Teen Titans failed to stand against the Secret Society, so only one man remains to stand against them: Lex Luthor! And find out the secret behind the Society's mission on Earth and how it will affect the future of the DCU. This month, "Batman: Year Zero" spreads to several other titles to find out what other heroes were up to when Batman was coming in to his own. Action Comics #25 finds a young Superman battling the forces of nature in order to save Gotham City.  In Detective Comics #25, a cop who wants justice above all else sets out to take on the G.C.P.D.'s corrupt officers and the urban legend Batman. Meet James Gordon. Before he was Batwing, a young Luke Fox believed in keeping the peace, so in Batwing #25, he must stop a classmate from making matters worse in a Gotham that is already falling apart. Also out this week, Superman Unchained #4 by Scott Snyder and Jim Lee continues the battle between Ascension and Superman. Other notable titles include Green Lantern #25, Swamp Thing #25, Trinity of Sin: The Phantom Stranger #13 and more!

After three years, Jonathan Luna (The Sword and Girls) returns to comics with the release of his new creator owned series Alex + Ada #1 by Image Comics. Alex didn't want the X5, the newest and most realistic android model on the market, but when one comes into his life, Alex might be convinced to keep her.  Ten Grande #5 marks the return of the series but with new artist C.P. Smith.
