Snikt! All new Wolverine this Wednesday, March 13

Marvel Comics welcomes back writer Paul Cornell as he teams up with artist Alan Davis for the new Wolverine #1. While visting New York City, Logan finds himself in the middle of a hostage situation going from bad to worse. A decision Wolverine is forced to make to save a little boy will forever change his life. All of that and a high-speed chase! Cornell and Davis are aiming to focus on the more human side of James Logan to really see what makes the man who has been a savage warrior, an X-Man, a headmaster, and a friend tick. Then, Cullen Bunn and Ramon Rosana bring readers Ultimate Comics Wolverine #1. Jimmy Hudson never really knew his father--the legendary Wolverine--, but he aims to discover the truth behind his past no matter what. Then, Marvel's huge Age of Ultron event continues this week with the release of issue #2 by Brian Bendis and Bryan Hitch; after recovering one of their own, will the heroes finally come out of hiding to take the world back or continue seeking out a meager existence. The Season One line of graphic novels continues with Avengers Season One HC by Peter David; this all-new graphic novel takes a modern look at the first days of this iconic team of heroes. Plus, don't miss out on all the other great Marvel titles this week, like Fearless Defenders #2 and Uncanny X-men #3.

DC's 'Requiem' continues this week throughout several Bat-family titles. In Batman #18, Scott Snyder is joined by guest-artist Andy Kubert to take a look at Batman--a man in danger of loosing his humanity after the tragic loss of his son, Damien Wayne. Will the return of Harper Row help the Dark Knight before it is too late? In Batgirl #18, Ray Fawkes begins his first of two issues as guest-writer. As Barbara faces the loss of her brother-in-arms, Damien, she must confront her real brother James Gordon Jr., the man who sold her out to The Joker. And you won't want to miss Batman and Robin #18 by Peter J. Tomasi and Patrick Gleason, which promises to be the best story of the year. With all of the excitement over Bat-books, don't forget the 'Wrath of  the First Lantern' story continuing in Green Lantern Corps #18 by Tomasi, Pasarin, and Hanna. AndAnother Before Watchmen title wraps up this week with Ozymandias #6 by Len Wein and Jae Lee. Several other great DC titles are available this week, such as Katana #2, Suicide Squad #18, and more!

The incredibly successful and entertaining new Dark Horse Comics' Star Wars series by Brian Wood and Carlos D'anda continues with issue #3. Princess Leia's command over a secret squadron of stealth X-wings has put her at odds with Luke, and to make matters worse, the spy amongst their ranks has informed the Empire of Han Solo's latest mission. From Image Comics, Walking Dead #108 continues Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard's zombie epic. In this issue, "Ezekiel has a tiger!"
