Fans of DC's New 52 have a great line-up of books this week. Aquaman #6 finds Mera on the trail of a man who may know who sank Atlantis, but will Mera discover something in her dark past was to blame? Then, in All Star Western #6, Jonah Hex and Amadeus Arkham have been trapped in a cave under Gotham City. They will have to enlist the help of a few familiar faces if they hope to survive and stop the men behind enslaving Gotham's children. In Flash #6, Barry Allen is recovering from his battle with Mob Rule, so he deserves a good break! How about solving a murder that goes back 150 years? Also keep your eyes out for the third issue of the Ray mini-series! These are just a few of the excellent DC titles that will be on shelves this Wednesday!
Marvel has dome great books, starting with Deadpool #51! Deadpool is on a mission to get himself killed (but his X-Force teammates don't know that, shh!), and no one is going to stand in his way! If one Deadpool book isn't enough, Deadpool MAX 2 #5 is also out. And if you still want some more Deadpool and X-Force, Uncanny X-Force #22 finds Wolverine and Nightcrawler (from the Age of Apocalypse) up against a new baddie in Otherworld as Psylocke attempts to save Fantomex. A few other X-titles to look forward to are Magneto: Not a Hero #4, Wolvering & The X-Men #6, X-Men #25, and X-Men Legacy #262. Don't worry, Marvel hasn't been taken over by the mutants. Captain America and Bucky #627 has Cap up against an army of Cap-killer androids, and former Bucky, Fred Davis, will determine Cap's fate. Then, Thor must protect the All-Mother in Mighty Thor #11. That is just a taste of what Marvel has to offer this week!
IDW's Infestation event continues with Infestation 2: Dungeons & Draongs #2! Wren may be the only person capable of saving Sharn, but will he be able to survive the horror of these other worldly monsters? Also, learn how Eberron's history is tied to the Lovecraftian threats plaguing every universe in Infestation 2. Keep an eye out for the second issue of Transformers, Robots in Disguise, one of two new books starring everyone's favorite robots.

Hit the road and discover the glory of new comics this Wednesday, February 15
Image's relaunch of Rob Leifield's Extreme line continues this week with Glory #23 by writer Joe Keatinge and artist Ross Campbell. Missing for more than a decade, the warrior goddess Glory has finally been found by one driven reporter. Her discovery, however, is all part of a global conspiracy that could threaten humanity. Keatinge plans to bring Glory's future to light by expanding on her past in ways that will surprise long time fans and entertain new readers! And this bears repeating, if you have never read Glory before, don't let the issue number stop you from checking this book out because it has be designed with new readers in mind.
This week, Stephen King and Joe Hill fans need to look no further than the duo's new miniseries Road Rage from IDW. Father and son team, King and Hill, joined forces to write a pros story titled Throttle that paid tribute to writer Richard Matheson's classic tale, Duel. The first issue of Road Rage begins the comic adaptation of their story by Chris Ryall, with the help of King and Hill. Throttle is a rubber-to-the-road adventure story that follows a motorcycle gang being chased down by a mysterious big rig! This promises to be a fun read so checked it out.
IDW's second Infestation event continues with two new books! First up, Infestation 2: Dungeons & Dragons #1 takes readers to the fan-favorite setting of Eberron and follows Abraxis Wren, the notorious inquisitive of Sham, as his routine case puts him on the trail of out-of-his-world Lovecraftian monsters. Then, Infestation 2: Transformers #2 continues the Autobots' steam-fueled adventure as they enlist the help of Tobias Muldoon to seek out the famous Nikola Tesla! Will they be able to reactivate Optimus Prime in time to save the world? Who knows! But no matter the outcome, the adventure will be a fun one.

Looking for a good jumping on point for the Amazing Spider-Man? You're in luck! Marvel's Point One initiative is designed to offer readers a great jumping on point to the different comics offered by the company. Amazing Spider-Man #679.1 marks the return of Morbius the Living Vampire and, hopefully, interested readers! If that isn't enough Spider-Man, Avenging Spider-Man #4 offers a new story finding the wall-crawler teamed up with the Avenger's Hawkeye! Finally, the odd team of Venom, Hulk, and X-23 continue their mission of buying Ghost Rider time to save the world in Venom #13.2.
DC has their regular scheduled comics lined up this week, but with one exception: Justice League #6 has been pushed to the last week of the month. But it is sure to be worth the wait. Scott Snyder's amazing run on Batman #6 continues with Batman still trapped beneath Gotham City by the deadly Court of Owls. Steal away some time for new comics this Wednesday, February 8, 2012
Readers don't want to miss Image's newest title Thief of Thieves #1 by writers Robert Kirkman and Nick Spencer and artist Shawn Martinbrough. Kirkman--the creative mind behind The Walking Dead and Invincible--and Spencer--best known for Morning Glories, Ultimate Comics X-Men, and more--join forces to bring their newest series to life. Conrad Paulson is the master thief known simply as Redmond. Even though Conrad can have anything he wants, he can't steal back time. The fan-favorite writer/artist team of Brian Wood and Becky Cloonan, best known for their original work Demo, reunites for a somewhat unexpected book from Dark Horse: Conan The Barbarian #1. In this adaptation of Robert E. Howard's "Queen of the Black Coast," Conan leaves the land behind as he sets off an a high-seas adventure full of action, adventure, and plenty of swashbuckling!

This week marks the release of the first of Marvel's highly anticipated Marvel: Season One original graphic novels that aim to bring new and old readers a fresh, modernized take on some of their favorite heroes. Kicking the new series off is Fantastic Four Season One by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and David Marquez. The fan-favorite writer/artist team of Brian Wood and Becky Cloonan, best known for their original work Demo, reunites for a somewhat unexpected book from Dark Horse: Conan The Barbarian #1. In this adaptation of Robert E. Howard's "Queen of the Black Coast," Conan leaves the land behind as he sets off an a high-seas adventure full of action, adventure, and plenty of swashbuckling!

Witness the origins of the Jedi this Wednesday, February 1, 2012
An even longer time ago in a galaxy far, far away, ties to the Force were new and lightsabers were not yet a symbol of discipline and strength. This week, Dark Horse takes readers back 25,000 years in Star Wars' history to witness the birth of the Jedi in Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi #0. It was during this time that nine mysterious pyramid ships known as the Tho Yor carried the ancestors of the ancient race Je'daii to the corners of the galaxy where an Order was born that would forever change the universe. Writer John Ostrander and artist Jan Duursema take readers on this new, unexplored part of Star Wars history.

Taking place in an age of steam-punk, monsters emerge from the dark depths of the ocean to corrupt humans and Decepticons! Only one man can awaken the Autobots to save the world!
Cable believes he can save the future, but there is one catch: the Avengers must be eliminated. Cable's one-man mission to wipeout the Earth's mightiest heroes continues this week in Avengers X-Sanction #3! If Cable had his hands full before, things only get worse as the Red Hulk becomes his next target. New comics infest the shelves this Wednesday, January 25
Last year, IDW brought together several of its worlds and characters together for a zombie battle across the multiverse! And they are at it again with the release of this week's Infestation 2 #1 by writer Duane Swierczynski and artist David Messina. From across time and space, Lovecraftian demons come to destroy everything and everyone in their way. Let's hope that an amazing collection of heroes can stop them before it is too late. Who you ask? How about The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Transformer, GI Joes, heroes from Dungeons & Dragons, and ... the Bat Boy? Like the first one, Infestation 2 promises to be a fun read packed with a lot of unexpected guest stars!
IDW also has the second of two new ongoing Transformers books starting this week. Transformers: Robots in Disguise #1 picks up with the Autobots now in charge of a Cybertron, still reeling from the recent war. And with Optimus Prime gone, Bumblebee and the others must try to maintain some type of order in this new world. Writer John Barber and artist Andrew Griffith bring readers all of the hard hitting action in this new series.
Some DC New 52 readers may have thought they missed Justice League #5 last week, but they don't need to worry because DC was a little bit late getting it out of the door. However, it is here this Wednesday along with all of the other fourth week New 52 titles everyone is looking forward to, like Aquaman #5, Batman: The Dark Knight #5, Superman #5, and more! Also, keep an eye out for the fourth issue of the Legion: Secret Origin limited series .

New and old readers should take a look at Deadpool #49.1 (The Musical!) and Secret Avengers #21.1, which are designed to introduce the books to those unfamiliar to the series while still offering a fun story for regular readers. Swing on in for new comics this Wednesday, January 18
Edgar Rice Burroughs' classic story Tarzan of the Apes is brought to life by Dynamite Entertainment like it has never been seen before: completely uncensored! Lord of the Jungle #1 begins in the late 1800s, and John Clayton, Lord of Greystoke, and his pregnant wife, the Lady Alice, find themselves stranded on a remote African coast. In the early 90s, Rob Liefeld introduced the character Prophet in Youngblood #2, and now, in 2012, Prophet returns thanks to Liefeld's Extreme Studio returning under the Image imprint. Writer Brandon Graham and artist Simon Roy have been given the reigns and creative freedom with this week's issue Prophet #21. Readers shouldn't be put off by the issue number because this is designed to be a starting point for new and old readers. Follow soldier John Prophet as he wakes from cryosleep to find that an alien race has settled the Earth, and humans have devolved into ape-men that serve as the new rulers' food source. Prohpet's mission? Restore the human empire!
Marvel has several great titles coming out this week. Here are a few highlights to watch for: Avenging Spider-Man #3, Amazing Spider-Man #678, Uncanny X-Force #20, and Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #6.
DC's New 52 continue this week with great titles like Batman #5, Catwoman #5, Green Lantern Corp #5, Supergirl #5, and Wonder Woman #5. Also keep an eye out for Batman Odyssey Vol. 2 #4.
