Magic the Gathering Standard Showdown Continues this Saturday, December 3rd!

From November 26 through December 17, Dr. No's is hosting the new Standard Showdown tournaments on Saturdays with special promotional prize boosters earned through undefeated play and other means. The tournaments will be Swiss tournaments meant to showcase the Standard format. This is the first time in a very long time that Dr. No's is hosting a regular Standard tournament. The prizes for you folks were too good to pass up!

The prize boosters will contain:

• A premium card from a currently legal Standard set, including the possibility of Zendikar Expeditions and Kaladesh Inventions.
• Two non-premium cards that are either a rare or a mythic rare from a set currently legal in Standard (Battle for Zendikar through Kaladesh).
• Cards from Oath of the Gatewatch and double-faced cards are not included in these packs.
• Zendikar Expeditions and Kaladesh Inventions appear in roughly 1 in 33 boosters.

We will be running 3 rounds of swiss starting at 1:00pm every Saturday from November 26 through December 7.

In addition to these sets, Welcome Deck 2016 cards may also be played in Standard.

Pro Tip: Some cards in Standard have alternate versions or were also printed in older sets, and it's okay to use those cards in your deck. If you're not sure about a card, look it up in Gatherer and check the Sets & Legality section.

This is without a doubt the finest work of Lewis's already-impressive artistic career. The series is a "Turok Meets Tarzan" tale of a family who are lost in a land that time forgot, where their son grows up in a world populated by dinosaurs.

Everyone who shows up on Wednesday for the signing will be entered into a drawing for the next issues of the Savage miniseries, all signed by Lewis. Lewis has also graciously offered to do some quick sketches at no charge for fans who drop by for the signing.

Dr. No's is OPEN on Thanksgiving Day from 1pm - 6pm! Black Friday Sale preview, too!

Hello all! Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.
If you need an escape from the festivities on that day, don't forget that Dr. No's is a place you can escape to for a little bit and grab this weeks comics or maybe something you missed.
Dr. No's will be open from 1pm until 6pm on Thanksgiving Day, and regular hours (11am - 9pm) on Black Friday.
On Black Friday, Dr. No's will open the Pop-Up Store location from 11 - 4pm for big Black Friday discounts on some Dr. No's close-out items. Dr. No's regular store will also be having Black Friday discounts on many items throughout the store.
