Wolverine keeps it coming this week as he leads his secret team of mutants in the first issue of
Uncanny X-Force! Cyclops disbanded the last X-Force team, but with the return of Apocalypse, Wolverine and Archangel have to reform the group with several of the most deadly mutants around: Deadpool, Psylocke, and Fantomex. This team will get the job done no matter the cost. Make sure to give this action packed title a try.
While Bruce Wayne is still missing, the long lost Batman and Solomon Grundy story by Bernie Wrightson is finally found. Written by Ron Marz,
Batman: Hidden Treasures presents full-page Wrightson illustrations inked by Kevin Nowian on every page. This issue also collects Wrightson and Len Wein's classic "Night of the Bat!" See how only Wrightson could depict the Dark Knight.
Hercules is finally back this week in
Chaos War #1, but even with his new powers, can he and the other heroes stand against the Chaos King? Since the Secret Invasion, the Chaos King has amassed his army of alien gods while he waited for the perfect chance to attack Earth. The time is now, and the war to rival Annihilation begins here.
This week also marks the start of DC's new line of

DC Comics Presents: Jack Cross #1, collecting the four issue Warren Ellis series for the first time.
Also this week, Marvel brings out
Ultimate Comics Thor #1 . Never before told in the Ultimate comics, Jonathan Hickman and Carlos Pacheco bring you the origin story of Thor and the rest of Asgard. Ragnorak has begun and Asgards doom grows closer, but what will Thor and the Warriors Three do? Find out this week.
And if you are not in a super hero mood, Darwyn Cooke's
Richard Stark's Parker: The Outfit releases this week. The follow up to last year's successful adaptation of
The Hunter,
Outfit picks up with Parker living the good life, but everything changes when someone rats him out to the Outfit for the price on his head. However, the Outfit is going to find out that Parker is not a man you go after unprepared. Fans of crime fiction should give this a try.
