Marvel's newest ongoing title, Superior Spider-Man Team-Up #1 by Christopher Yost and David Lopez, premieres this Wednesday. After being suspended from the Avengers and the events of Superior Spider-Man #14, Spidey is hunting down New York's heroes one-by-one. It isn't long before his old team takes notice and Captain America puts out the call to track Spider-Man down and stop him. Chapter three of DC's 'Trinity War' continues this week in Justice League Dark #22 by Jeff Lemire, Ray Fawkes and Mikel Janin. The three Leagues are at war, and one of them has already bee drive to murder (or so it seems). In this chapter, a member of the Justice League defects to the Dark, and Constantine may have information about the murder he is keeping from everyone. If that isn't enough to keep you interested, one of the League members has a secret that could change the entire direction of the war. Don't miss the 'Trinity War' tie-in Constantine #5 by Ray Fawkes and Renato Guedes. As the war continues to be waged, John sets his sights on Billy Batson and the power of Shazam! And if you missed the news at Comic-Con this weekend, Warner Bros. announced a Superman/Batman film for 2015. To help hold you over, even for just a few minutes, pick up Batman/Superman #2 by Greg Pack and Jae Lee. In this issue, Batman and Superman head to Earth 2 and encounter two familiar faces who happen to be trying to kill them.
Dynamite's newest miniseries is the long-awaited crossover Army of Darkness VS Hack/Slash #1 by Tim Seeley and Daniel Leister. Cassie Hack just wants to live a normal life after the events of the last Hack/Slash series, but when Deadites attack, Cassie is forced back into action. However, she may be in over her head and must team-up with Ashley J. Williams to hunt down the missing pages from the Book of the Dead. Will the two be able to keep from killing each other long enough to do what must be done? And will Ash get some sugar? Not if Cassie can help it! Horror fans won't want to miss this book.
