The heroes of the Marvel Universe may have hope yet for regaining control from Ultron in Age of Ultron #5 by Bendis and Hitch. The surviving heroes have gathered in the Savage Land in hopes of fighting back, and it is there they will make a decision that could change the MU forever. Then, a shift in perspectives comes with Ultron #1 by Kathryn Immonen and Amilcar Pinna; a lot of kids think they have parental issues, but Victor Mancha's problems may take the prize--his dad is Ultron, the robot that took over the world and killed its heroes. In Avengers Assemble #14 AU, Black Widow returns to San Francisco--a formerly familiar place turned horrific after Ultron's attack on organic beings. Part four of 'X-Termination' hits this week in X-Treme X-Men #13; Kid Nightcrawler may be able to stop the ever-growing rift into the Age of Apocalypse, but at what cost?
DC's Bat-family has been through some difficult times lately, but luckily, a new book this week gives everyone a very needed lighthearted, breath of fresh air. Dustin Nguyen brings readers Batman: Lil' Gotham #1, a great title for all ages. All of your favorite characters are here but in that familiar 'young' art style that has become very popular. In this issue, Robin teaches Batman the true meaning of Halloween, and the family gets together for a nice dinner. DC's special gatefold covers continue this week, each with a shocking reveal. Capcom and Sega combine forces this Wednesday for one of the most anticipated crossover events of the 2013: fan-favorite character's Sonic the Hedgehog and Mega Man join forces to take down Drs. Eggman and Willy. Part one of the twelve-part epic 'Worlds Collide' story can be found in Mega Man #24 by Ian Flynn and Matt Herms.
