All New Marvel NOW! puts pedal to the metal in this week's release of All New Ghost Rider #1 by Felipe Smith and Tradd Moore. Buckle up because the action is coming fast and furious when Marvel's newest Ghost Rider hits the streets of East Los Angeles in his suped-up hot rod of vengeance to put an end to spreading gang violence and drug trafficking. Then, trade in hell on four wheels for a surf board in Silver Surfer #1 by Dan Slott and Michael Allred. The Surfer has been all around the universe, but it isn't until an Earth girl challenges him to go beyond his comfort zone that he discovers there is more to his world than he ever imagined. Join Silver Surfer and his new friend on a journey through the strange and the weird. After that galactic trip, return to earth in Iron Patriot #1 by Ales Kot and Garry Brown. Jim Rhodes left the Secret Avengers to bring the fight directly to the bad guys in a way only he can, but will his best laid plans lead to him being America's most wanted?
Amanda Waller, the head of the Suicide Squad and A.R.G.U.S., has a list of enemies that would rival Santa's naughty list, and in Suicide Squad: Amanda Waller by Jim Zubkavich, one of those bad guys sets off to kill her. Without the help of either of her teams, Waller will have to stop him all by herself. I have a feeling she'll be ready. Meanwhile, the main Forever Evil series nears its end, so many of the tie-ins are drawing to a close as well. Forever Evil: A.R.G.U.S. #6 by Sterling Gates and Neil Edwards presents Steve Trevor's final shot at saving the Justice League from the grasp of the Crime Syndicate. But the fight isn't just good guys versus bad guys. In Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion #6 by Brian Buccellato and Scot Hepburn, the Rogues are finally at full strength and plan to hit the Syndicate head on. And John Constantine finally breaks in the conclusion to "Forever Evil: Blight" in Justice League Dark #29 by J.M. DeMatteis and Mikel Janin. All three of these books lead into Forever Evil #7, so don't miss them.
If you're looking for something new this week, why don't you give Bryan Hitch's new book Real Heroes #1 a look. Best described as Galaxy Quest meets Kick-Ass, Hitch's new book follows the story of six actors playing the roles of super heroes in the hugely popular super powered film franchise The Olympians. At the premiere of their new film, their lives change forever when what they think is a publicity stunt turns out to be something so much more.
