 Hey, comics artists! Here's your chance to launch your professional comics art career!


Dr. No's is the only store in Georgia to offer the special Unity #1 Art Contest Phantom Variant.  This special edition of the premiere issue of Valiant's new hit series has not one but two variant covers: there is a cute variant cover featuring kid versions of the main character, but the outermost variant cover is a blank sketch cover on heavy art stock.

Here's how the contest works:

(1) Purchase a copy of the Unity #1 Art Contest Phantom Variant at Dr. No's.

(2) Enjoy this great comic!

(3) Draw your own Unity #1 cover on the Phantom Variant Sketch cover (must be drawn on the book--cannot be submitted on a separate sheet of paper)

(4) Bring your cover in to Dr. No's by Friday, November 22nd, so that we can put it on display.

(5) Our judges will pick first, second, and third place winners, and each winner will receive a prize.

(6) The first-place winner's art will be submitted to Valiant Comics, who will select a national winner from each participating store's first place winner (there are 57 total participating stores from all 50 states and the UK, so it's a pretty elite competition!). The Grand Prize for the national winner is a one on one portfolio review (by Skype or phone) with Valiant Executive Editor Warren Simons!
