The Scarlet Spider returns this Wednesday, January 11

Peter Parker's world was turned upside down during the events of Spider-Island, but with the trouble over, everything should be back to normal, right? Of course not! A familiar face returns this week in Scarlet Spider #1 by Chris Yost and Ryan Stegman. Who is the Scarlet Spider? Why has he come to Houston, Texas? The new Spider's secrets will all be revealed in this 40-page special first issue! If that isn't enough Spider-action, Carnage USA #2 and Amazing Spider-Man #677 are also out this week!

Batman enters a twisted Wonderland in the new, hardcover, original graphic novel Batman: Through The Looking Glass. Writer Bruce Jones and artist Sam Kieth take readers on a fantastic journey as Batman encounters The Mad Hatter for the first time and is transported to a Wonderland beyond his imagination. Alfred and Robin believe The Dark Knight is delirious, but if that's the case, how is he able to solve Gotham mysteries that have haunted the city for years? Batman fans and those who love Lewis Carroll's classic will want to check this book out.

Marvel's X-fans have several books to look forward to this week! First up, Jason Aaron and Adam Kubert present Wolverine #300! An all-new Wolverine story starts in this extra-sized issue. Wolverine must confront a dangerous foe in Tokyo, and he has a couple of other surprises in store for him. A new Silver Samurai is revealed, and Wolverine will meet his daughter. In Wolverine and The X-Men #4, the school is recovering from its recent encounter with the new Hellfire Club, and two new students enroll. The adventures continue in X-Men Legacy #260.1 as Rogue, Gambit, Iceman, Frenzy, and Rachel Summers begin their rolls as teachers and protectors of Wolverine's new school. Also, don't miss the always entertaining X-Factor #230 and Magneto: Not A Hero #3.

Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley's hit new series Brilliant continues this week with the release of its second issue. Several genius college students have cracked the mystery of superpowers, but what will they do with all that power? Fans of Scarlet, Powers, and Ultimate Spider-Man should check this new series out.

These books, and many more, will be available as soon as we open the doors on Wednesday, so come on by! (And if you want to get an idea what else you can expect, check out the covers below!)
