Check out these great comics for Wednesday, June 15!

Alpha Flight #1, by best-selling authors Greg Pak and Fred Van Lente and artist Dale Eaglesham, hits shelves this week, kicking off the Fear Itself maxi-series spin-off. After the resurrection of their departed team members, the original Alpha Flight are reunited just in time to fight the Fear spreading through their country and the entire world. However, the actions of one of the team's closest allies causes the Fear stricken population to turn against their protectors. Alpha Flight needs everything they've got to survive an entire nation hunting them down. Several other Fear Itself tie-ins are also available this week: Fear Itself: Home Front #3, Fear Itself: Youth in Revolt #2, Avengers #14, Avengers Academy #15, and Invincible Iron Man #505.

DC looks to further explore the world of Flashpoint with several new mini-series and a one-shot focusing on different characters in the new world. First up, we have Flashpoint: Deadman and the Flying Graysons #1 by J.T. Krul and Mikel Janin. Boston Brand and Dick Grayson are back in their original, high-flying element, and you won't want to miss their final performance! Next, we have Flashpoint: Legion of Doom #1 by Adam Glass, Rodney Buchemi, and Jose Marzan, Jr. Cyborg's greatest foe Heat Wave is dead set on revenge, and he will do whatever it takes to take down this world's greatest hero. Finally, don't miss Flashpoint: Wonder Woman and the Furies #1 by Dan Abnett, Andy Lanning, Scott Clark, and David Beaty. You've read about and seen the destruction they have caused, but now really get to know the Wonder Woman of this world and her Furies who will rule the world. Each of these first issues will come with a commemorative pin. Don't forget the Flashpoint: Grodd of War One-Shot by Sean Ryan and Ig Guara and meet the ruler of Africa.

The release of the Green Lantern film draws closer, and this week, readers can pick up Green Lantern, Movie Prequel: Abin Sur by Michael Green and Karl Kerschl. Discover what Abin Sur was doing before his big screen adventure on June 17.

Fans of the runaway, or should I say shambling-away, series Walking Dead will have their hunger satiated this week with the release of Vol. 14 of the trade paperback collections.

These books, and many more, will be available as soon as we open the doors on Wednesday, so come on by! (And if you want to get an idea what else you can expect, check out the covers below!)
